Sustainable Supply Chain
Policy Management
Good Way regards its suppliers as crucial partners for sustainable growth. Following relevant regulatory obligations forms the basis of our supplier management practices. We focus on labor rights, environmental protection, and health and safety as key risk control points to establish sustainable strategic partnerships with our suppliers."
Strategy
Good Way values cooperation and growth with suppliers and, in line with sustainable procurement policies and in response to customer demands, has formulated a sustainable supply chain strategy. This strategy includes product quality, technical capabilities, cost/operation management, and sustainable development (environmental sustainability, governance, and social responsibility) to strengthen strategic partnerships.
Good Way has established a strategic procurement department and a supplier quality management unit to execute supplier management. Based on mutual cooperation and benefit, Good Way controls the criteria and processes for supplier selection, conducts risk assessments, performance evaluations, audits, and training to implement sustainability requirements in supply chain management.
Management Framework—Adhering to the RBA Code of Conduct
Good Way strictly adheres to the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct. All our production bases have obtained the RBA-VAP certificate issued by the RBA. We also require implementation in supply chain management, risk assessment, and on-site audits. Through the following effective supply chain management mechanisms, we can quickly and effectively enhance the control of the quality and related conduct standards of each supplier."
Management Process
From the new supplier approval stage, Good Way requires suppliers to sign a 'Procurement Contract' to ensure their delivery time, quality, and warranty specifications. In the event of delivery delays caused by natural disasters or accidents, suppliers are obligated to notify immediately. For highly interchangeable electronic components, we establish alternative parts (Second Source management mechanism); for critical materials, we establish safety stock to prevent risks caused by shortages or quality issues. Good Way continuously monitors and collects market information, regularly reviews market trends through weekly and monthly meetings, and adopts a centralized procurement strategy. We establish an Approved Vendor List (AVL) to improve collaboration efficiency through consolidation and concentration, thereby obtaining high-quality materials and stable delivery times.
Good Way requires all suppliers to bear social responsibility by signing the "Commitment to Compliance with the RBA Code of Conduct," which covers the RBA’s five major areas: labor, health and safety, environment, ethics, and management systems. By implementing these actions, Good Way continually enhances the resilience and sustainability of its supply chain.
