At this year's COMPUTEX, Good Way globally debuted several new intelligent docking solutions, along with other docking solutions designed for conference and high-end professional applications. These offerings created a significant buzz at the highly attended COMPUTEX, capturing the attention of buyers and experts from around the world.



This year, AI PCs have been a hot topic, but their prices remain relatively high. In response, Good Way has pioneered the launch of the AI dock DBF7056, which integrates AI and Thunderbolt 5 technology. This dock provides up to 26 TOPS of computing power for regular laptops and enables fast multi-person facial and object recognition using the laptop's camera, significantly enhancing laptop performance. Additionally, the DBF7056 features Thunderbolt 5 for high-speed data transfer and up to 140W PD charging, and it supports connection to up to three 4K resolution monitors. This makes it the optimal solution for the AI era, offering both performance and cost-efficiency.


In addition to using AI to enhance laptop computing performance, Good Way showcased several smart docks at the event, each employing different connection technologies for LAN connectivity. These include the DBD8400 with Thunderbolt 4, the DUD8390 with USB-C DP1.4 MST, and the DUD8380 with DisplayLink. IT administrators can utilize these smart docks connected via LAN to perform remote firmware updates, port usage monitoring, power management, and more. They can also integrate multiple network-connected docks through the cloud, providing the most intelligent remote management solutions for enterprise IT management. Unlike traditional docks, Good Way showcased the console dock DUD8410 this year. It features a built-in screen, physical hotkeys, and a knob. The screen can display various settings for users to choose from, and the four built-in hotkeys can be customized for greater flexibility. Additionally, the knob design offers a more refined and convenient interface for volume control, video fast-forward/rewind, and other fine-tuning needs.


In recent years, Good Way has targeted the conferencing application market. At this year's COMPUTEX, Good Way showcased two conferencing docks using HDBaseT technology: the HUV6600 and HUV6601. These stations connect laptops on the host side to external monitors on the device side, and can transmit audio and video signals through a single CAT6 cable. The HUV6600 also uses the CAT6 cable for power transmission, with a range of up to 100 meters, reducing cable costs and interference. This solution provides a cost-effective and high-quality option for conference audio and video transmission.


The trend of Hybrid Work emerging post-pandemic emphasizes flexible work environments and the importance of BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). Good Way showcased the USB-C KVM dock DUK6850, capable of switching between two laptops. Featuring built-in dual upstream ports, it supports screen sharing, charging, data sharing, and peripheral device sharing between the connected laptops. It also offers a quick switch mode for fast sharing, ideal for collaborative needs in offices. Additionally, Good Way presented the portable screen casting solution NDW6000, enabling easy wireless projection of users' laptop, tablet, or smartphone screens to displays. With a maximum resolution of 2K, it supports plug-and-play functionality without requiring any drivers, making it an ideal assistant for the BYOD trend. In pursuit of enhanced charging capabilities, Good Way released the Thunderbolt 5 dock DBF7052, a model without SSD that provides 140W PD charging and supports up to 8K resolution monitor extension, along with 'Thunderbolt Share' technology, enabling data sharing between two connected laptops via Thunderbolt 5. 


Additionally, Good Way showcased the GaN charger dock DUG7380 at the event. Despite its compact size, this powerful device can simultaneously charge laptops and other USB-connected devices, and connect to a 4K resolution screen, attracting considerable interest from prospective buyers.


Good Way indicates that AI will be ubiquitous in the future. Good Way is pioneering the integration of AI with smart docking solutions, showcasing not only its innovative technology and robust product planning capabilities but also demonstrating how these solutions can accelerate seamless integration with the AI ecosystem for customers. This initiative has attracted significant attention from global clients and buyers. Other solutions such as conference, GaN, and Thunderbolt 5 docks have also garnered considerable interest and inquiries. The DBF7052, designed for professionals, is a flagship docking station featuring cutting-edge Thunderbolt 5 technology. With a power delivery range of 45W to 140W, it rapidly charges laptops and multiple USB devices, highly enhancing productivity and efficiency. This dock enables content extension to three 4K120 displays or dual 8K60 displays through Thunderbolt 5 ports, showcasing the most delicate details for creators. Compatibility extends to traditional USB, USB4, Thunderbolt 3, and 4, providing great convenience. Equipped with an Ethernet RJ45 connector and three USB-A ports, it ensures a reliable environment. The Compact Yet Powerful GaN Charger Dock


The DUG7380 utilizes advanced GaN technology and is a compact yet powerful dock. It supports 65W fast charging for laptops and can connect and charge other USB devices through one USB-A and two USB-C downstream ports. Additionally, the DUG7380 features an HDMI video interface capable of connecting a 4K resolution monitor and includes a MicroSD slot for added flexibility.

The HUV6600, adopting HDBaseT USB3.0 technology, is a complete conferencing solution, ensuring fast and high-quality transmission of USB-native content with a single CATx cable up to 100 meters. The HUV6600 features two devices: the HUV6620 at the host side and HUV6610 at the device side. The HUV6620 allows for dual laptops connectivity at its UFP USB-C ports, providing a fast switch between two laptops and enhancing presentation convenience. In addition, the HUV6610’s four built-in USB-A 5G ports enable the connection of more devices, including USB cameras, USB video adapters, and dock, for applications such as video conferencing or multiple display content extension. With the outstanding advantages of HDBaseT, the HUV6600 is a perfect conferencing solution that combines cost-effectiveness and performance for versatile applications.

The DUK6850 serves as a convenient conferencing dock, enabling two laptops to share displays, power, data, and devices, significantly enhances conferencing efficiency and quality. When connected, it allows one of both laptops to extend content to two 4K60Hz displays, or project each content to individual display at the same time. Simultaneously, the DUK6850 delivers PD65W to both laptops, ensuring efficient charging. It also facilitates seamless file transfer and shared keyboard and mouse functionality between the laptops, providing enhanced flexibility. Other USB devices, such as flash drives, cameras, or speakerphones, can be shared through the dock.
