Good Way (3272.TWO) is striving to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, integrating this environmental sustainability vision into its corporate policies and management systems. The company has established short, medium, and long-term environmental goals. In June of this year, Good Way received the "1.5°C Climate Control Target" certification from CommonWealth Magazine's "Temperature Rising Index for Pathways" (TRIPs). This recognition underscores Good Way's strong commitment to limiting global warming to 1.5°C by the end of the century, in line with the Paris Agreement.
The TRIPs, developed by CommonWealth Magazine and Tunghai University, is a platform that references the United Nations' professional assessment reports, adopting the temperature change simulation model proposed by the United Nations to analyze, record, and disclose each company's carbon reduction ambitions and pathways. The platform features nearly a thousand companies, but only 20% meet the Paris Agreement's 1.5°C temperature control target, including Good Way. This recognition highlights Good Way's long-term commitment to green supply chain management, green product development, renewable energy use, and promoting waste reduction, carbon reduction, energy saving, and resource recycling in its offices, aligning with international carbon reduction standards.
Good Way states that corporate social responsibility and environmental sustainability are long-term goals of the company. The certification from the TRIPs highlights Good Way's determination to achieve zero carbon emissions. Moving forward, Good Way will continue to implement innovative technologies, actively promoting energy conservation, carbon reduction, and environmental protection through concrete actions. The company also looks forward to collaborating with more like-minded enterprises and supply chain partners to jointly achieve the 1.5°C temperature control target, safeguarding our one and only Earth.
