Labor and Human Rights Policy

Good Way actively demonstrates its responsibility towards the environment and society. We publicly commit to adhering to the "Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct" and through compliance with the code and its standards, we implement comprehensive supply chain management. We require all suppliers to comply with relevant laws, regulations, and the RBA Code of Conduct, and to treat employees with respect. We take multiple actions to ensure social responsibility and labor rights within our supply chain.

  • Good Way prohibits the employment of workers under the age of 16 through process reviews and strict controls. We also respect workers' rights to freedom, including freedom of employment, resignation, overtime, and movement, and we require our suppliers to implement this policy.
  • Good Way strictly implements the employment policies of the "RBA Code of Conduct," adhering to local laws and regulations for employment practices. Forced labor is prohibited at all levels of the company. Employees are ensured that their identification documents are not withheld, nor are they required to pay any deposits as a condition of employment.
  • As a company committed to ethical operations and responsible manufacturing of computer peripherals, Good Way and its subsidiaries hereby declare the following regarding anti-human trafficking:
    • Good Way verifies identities and conducts necessary background checks for all domestic and foreign workers before employment, based on anti-human trafficking principles.
    • Good Way regularly reviews labor policies in the regions where employees are located to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and customer requirements.
    • Good Way prohibits the transportation, concealment, recruitment, or use of prison labor, debt bondage labor, domestic workers, trafficked labor, or any similar human trafficking activities.
    • Good Way prohibits the use of any prison factories, reform farms, trafficking organizations, or other institutions utilizing forced labor as suppliers.
    • Good Way has formalized this policy in writing and communicated it to all employees and suppliers to collectively protect basic employee rights.
  • Good Way implements a non-discrimination principle in the workplace, prohibiting any form of procedural discrimination. In formulating and executing policies related to recruitment, wages, benefits, training, promotion, dismissal, or retirement, we adhere to principles of fairness and equality, without discrimination based on race, social status, nationality, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, union membership, political affiliation, or age, and we do not interfere with employees' beliefs, norms, or specific rights in these areas.
  • Good Way, in line with its corporate social responsibility and the spirit of the "RBA Code of Conduct," selects appropriate supply chain partners and requires suppliers to sign relevant guarantees of compliance with social responsibility standards, ensuring that suppliers’ employment practices meet applicable regulations.

Good Way is committed to protecting human rights, strictly complying with human rights and labor rights-related regulations and international standards. We provide fair opportunities for employment, training, compensation, evaluation, and promotion, and do not engage in discrimination or differential treatment based on gender, appearance, race, class, religion, political affiliation, etc. To fulfill our commitment to human rights-related policies, we have established internal grievance channels to ensure the protection of employees' rights.

Retirement System

Good Way adheres to the relevant labor laws of the operating locations when handling retirement. In Taiwan, retirement is handled in accordance with the Labor Standards Act and the Labor Pension Act, while in mainland China, it follows the "Social Insurance Law of the People's Republic of China." Good Way has also established internal retirement management guidelines and a Retirement Reserve Supervision Committee to monitor implementation and protect employees' rights, ensuring reasonable protection for retirement life.

Occupational Safety and Health Management System and Procedures

Good Way has independently implemented ISO 45001:2018 and continuously maintains the effectiveness of the management system to reduce the risks associated with occupational safety and health management. To instill a culture of workplace safety and health, the company includes general occupational safety and health education in the orientation training for new employees, establishing basic safety concepts. Additionally, existing employees regularly undergo on-the-job training courses to promote safety awareness and protection.
