Founded in 1983, Good Way Technology began as a manufacturer of transmission cables, gaining extensive expertise in USB technology and becoming a globally recognized leader in computer peripherals and wireless consumer product development and manufacturing. Every year, Good Way makes significant investments in R&D, establishing technical research centers and gathering talented engineers to drive the development of high-tech products. Beyond traditional USB peripherals, Good Way has expanded its portfolio to include consumer electronics and wireless communication devices, such as high-definition HDMI peripherals, 3D TV accessories, wireless products (Wi-Fi & UWB), DLNA wireless audio products, and Bluetooth dongles. In recent years, we have focused on developing high-speed interface technologies and applications, including home digital automation, cloud computing, and peripherals for tablets and smartphones, continuously raising our technical capabilities and innovation levels.
In 2009, Good Way entered the eHome smart energy management device market, using Z-Wave technology to develop Home Automation products, launching solutions in smart security, energy management, and eldercare applications. With the increasing demand for smart home systems, our home automation products have become potential star offerings. Since 2015, we have embraced the USB 3.1 era, a trend expected to create substantial opportunities for peripheral products. High-speed interfaces are becoming essential for future PC development, with Thunderbolt technology leading in speed. In 2013, Good Way achieved a milestone as the first to launch the worldwide Thunderbolt Light Ridge docking station, mastering critical technology and gaining a competitive edge. By 2015, Good Way received Apple certification, entering the MacBook supply chain. Our newly developed Type-C products showcase our R&D strength and commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements.
