Good Way Showcases CareCore ADLs at Medical Japan and CEATEC 2026, Bringing AI-Powered Smart Care to Japan
Combining wearable-free Edge AI sensing with daily activity insights to support safer, more independent living
Good Way Technology is bringing its CareCore ADLs smart elderly care solution to Japan through two consecutive exhibitions at the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion: Medical Japan Tokyo 2026, held October 7–9, and CEATEC 2026, taking place October 13–16.
As Japan faces the growing challenges of an aging population and increasing demand for care services, Good Way is demonstrating how AI sensing and integrated technologies can help families and caregivers stay informed without compromising the privacy or independence of older adults.
Built around the idea of care that fits naturally into everyday life, CareCore ADLs enables remote monitoring without requiring seniors to wear devices or live under continuous video surveillance.
Turning Everyday Activity into Meaningful Care Insights
CareCore ADLs combines three Edge AI sensors for human presence, fall and posture detection, and stove dry-boil alerts within one centralized care platform.
Unlike conventional wearable alert devices or camera-based monitoring, the system requires no active operation by older adults. Its on-device AI processing analyzes relevant information locally, avoiding the need to transmit raw images to the cloud.
Beyond detecting falls, prolonged inactivity, and unattended cooking risks, the platform provides daily, weekly, and long-term activity analysis. This helps families and care professionals better understand everyday routines, recognize unusual changes, and make more informed care decisions.
With modular sensor deployment and RESTful API support, CareCore ADLs can be adapted to individual homes, senior living communities, and care facilities while integrating with existing service systems.
Connecting Smart Care Innovation with Japan's Healthcare and Technology Sectors
At Medical Japan Tokyo, Good Way presented CareCore ADLs as a practical approach to elderly care and remote monitoring. The showcase continues at CEATEC 2026, highlighting how AI and IoT technologies can address real-world challenges in aging societies.
This year marks Taiwan Excellence's first appearance at CEATEC, bringing together 13 Taiwanese companies under the theme “Taiwan AI Island.” CareCore ADLs was also featured in on-site coverage by Taiwan's Central News Agency, highlighting its wearable-free sensing and privacy-conscious approach to AI-assisted care.
Through both exhibitions, Good Way aims to engage with Japanese care providers, system integrators, and technology partners, better understand local care requirements, and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
Good Way continues to build on its expertise in AI, IoT, and hardware-software integration to develop solutions that go beyond detecting incidents—helping caregivers understand everyday changes while supporting greater independence and dignity for older adults.
